so i was on MUA because i need to go replace some products...and i read about an aspirin mask. has anyone tried it? here's one review...
"Once a week, I mix about 5 or 6 aspirin with about a teaspoon of water and a little bit of my moisturizer(to help it stick to my face and not flake off), leave it on for 5-10 minutes and voila, beautiful skin. For me, it exfoliates, prevents breakouts and sooths existing blemishes(calms the redness and inflamation), keeps my pores celan, exfoliates and evens tone. It's really a miracle mask. I highly reccomend this one."
of the 342 reviews, 90% would use it again. so i'm going to try this tonight just for the heck of it...
just wondering if anyone else has tried it?

I haven't but I told FH about it because he has some redness on his neck that he gets really self consious about and he tried it out and likes it a lot.
i should add that many people use different things other than moisturizer or nothing at all....read through a couple reviews...
i feel like i'm a bit behind on this "product" but i thought i would share and see if anyone else has done it.

I tried it once, but I didn't have completely uncoated aspirin. I crushed it up but of course it still had the thin film that coats the aspirin in the mix. OUCH, it was sharp and it hurt!
But I would try it again (with UNCOATED aspirin) if you girls give some glowing reviews!

I tried it and its ok. It does a nice job exfoliating but I have other products that do the job just as well, imo, and while it is cheaper, i'm usually too lazy to do it. It's a neat trick though.
