I posted about my bf's new position in the careers section but I wanted to be sad about it over here too. My bf took a position as a landman today.  As some of you guys know I took a position in NW Arkansas as an Industrial Engineer.  I was already moving but would have only been 3.5 hrs away from where we both currently live.  From my understanding so far a landman position takes you to places like Wyoming for up to a year at a time.  I am really nervous because i *hate* long distance relationships and thought since he was going to be where we both are currently I would see him all the time bc he could come up on weekends and I will be down here seeing my family all the time.  I hope it all works out!!

I hope it works out too.  When my husband and I were first dating, he lived in Missouri and I lived in California.  We had known each other for about 10 years, so I think that helped.  It was hard, but we made it through.  Just takes some work.
