Did everyone watch the finale last night? What did you think? It seemed like both would have been great candidates. Trump's reason's for hiring (oh god I just forgot her name) were a little weak. He said Tana was overall better. But just b/c she lacked on her last job isn't a good concrete reason not to hire her.
Both women were awesome, but I was rooting for Kendra. Everyone else I talked to was rooting for Tana, but I think it was a really tough decision. Tana was really annoying when she started whooping and pumping her fist in the air, though.
I liked Tana better in the beginning --she is great with creative things and ideas and focus groups but she was so weird on that task with the shirts and the beads---I lost it for her then. She just seems small potatoes compared to Kendra.......
I think Kendra is a little young and immature but she really sees the big picture and is more strategic with her thinking and plans. Trump will be able to mold her into what he wants easier than Tana.
Kendra's brochure for Pontiac was amazing. ANd SOny offerred her a job as well. SHe also did well on the tee shirt project by getting the art community there.

In the beginning of the season, I predicted that Tana would be one of the final two, if not win the whole thing. But then out of nowhere, halfway through the seaon, Kendra pops up as this shining marketing star. I agree, she is rather immature, but she also did a fabulous job in the last few weeks.
It was glaringly obvious who Trump was going to pick. They could have done that whole finale show last night in five minutes. Unlike last year, when he was obviously undecided between Kelly and Jen. Then, he consulted audience members, the other contestants and his other trusted employees and associates until he finally decided on Kelly (who, imo, was the obvious choice anyway). But this year, the other contestants barely got any airtime and the only people he consulted were Carolyn and George.
I am glad Kendra won - I was rooting for her. I agree w/jacL - Tana was just too obnoxious and annoying - the whole pumping her fist in the air made me want to slap her. Her trying to take credit for the Pontiac brochure was pathetic, and I thought she did an awful job w/her final task - she treated her employees terrible and tried to blame them for her mistakes. I agree Kendra is a little young, but she just seems better suited - she seems to know a lot about Real Estate, and I think that is what Trump was looking for.
I for one was actually really glad that one finale this year didn't get dragged out to 3 hours. I'm glad it was one hour and he picked so fast
I liked both of them, but at first I thought Tana would have been the better choice. Then she acted so obnoxiously last night that I changed my mind and decided that Kendra was the tamer and safer choice!

I was definitely rooting for Kendra, especially since Tana and Craig ditched her on the Pontiac thing, and Tana tried to take credit for it last night!! GRR
That Chris and Kendra real estate deal is interesting. I actually liked Chris, his heart was in it.
I am so glad Tana didn't win. I knew she wouldn't the second she quit on Kendra the night of the brochure project. The Trump started that scene off by talking about how sometimes an all nighter is required. How dare Tana rest on her laurels, knowing she couldn't be fired. I'm sure Trump was none too impressed with that decision.
Tana was annoying and so what if she has good ideas. Lots of people I know are very creative. That does not make them business material. She is perfect for sales, not real estate. Trump made the right decision.
