Ughh, I hate even inquiring because it makes me feel so naive-6th grader writing to YM magazine. I just had a "spot." I had my regular "bill" on the 2nd-6th. I've never had anything like this in the 14 years since "it" began, is this a sign of age? Anything to worry about? Does this ever happen to anyone else? sorry for being Grotty to the Max.
Honestly, spotting is usually nothing to worry about. But, as someone who's natural cycles are extremely regular (set your watch by me my period comes at 1pm on the 28th day of my cycle) spotting would have freaked me right out too. And, because it's not something that is 'normal' for you it's worth looking into IMO.
Have you been under alot of stress lately? Started any new medications? Had a sudden increase your exercise routine? On BC pills? Sexually active? Each of these things can cause a myriad of cycle-disruptions . . .

you're probably ovulating right now, sometimes spotting can occur during ovulation. don't worry, it's totally normal and nothing to be concerned about.

Esquiress-Thanks so much for your timely reply, I am in fact ovulating! I can always tell because......
Lmonet-Exactly why I was puzzled, because I too am super consistent. I haven't changed any routines, don't take the pill etc.
