So yeah...the boy doesn't call for a while. I'm over him...or so i tell myself this...I go on another date w/ a cute boy...but I still want the other boy!!!
The first boy emails saying he wants to get together (he knows I went on a date w/ someone else at this point...typical) I jump on the opportunity and am now meeting him on thursday! But now I think I've given him too much attention...I don't want GAMES!!! No GAMES!!! I need to cut the first boy out...I know this...but I don't know what he does to hook me in again, but he does it well :P
Vent over. I know what I need to do but I'm not going to listen to my conscience apparently...so I'm now left to vent about it here! :(
I was the same way Lola, the guy that didn't drool over me or give me so much attention made me want him even more! Dont forget guys will do that on purpose too. My husband did that to me when we were dating, Men!
Who hasn't been there? Guy is interested just enough to torture us but not enough for us to get together. And if he was interested enough for us to get together, we'd probably all of a sudden dislike them for some stupid Seinfeldian reason. Grrr. Boys are frustrating. But we're more so because our brains tell us what the right answer is but we somehow can't listen to ourselves.
Hang in there, Lola. Maybe use Thursday as a "can we just be friends" date. How fabulous would that be? Can you imagine the look on his face? (I'm laughing over here!)
i hate this kind of thing too! don't give up on the other guy yet, even if the more distant one still gets to you. just try to hang in there with the second boy and see if it works out. he may end up being your great new boyfriend.
I am such a LOSER!!! hahaha at least I laugh at myself! ;)
Tati...now your comment just gave me hope! nooooo!
Blubirde ~ now I think you're onto something...that would be GENIOUS! The great thing is that they are both on myspace. Tony probably knows about the other because of all the "date" comments...but Rob has no clue bout Tony...I gotta watch out for that. Screen Tony's comments fo sure.
Don't you just love playing games with gameplayers? We didn't start it and they aren't our rules, but we sure as hell can catch on quick. (And take home the gold!)
