the stains on the bottom of the bathtub? I'm moving into a college apartment next month, and the bathtub is a light cream color. Since its old, the bathtub looks very used and there are stains (of dirt) on the bottom of it. I was wondering if there is a product out there that will help get at least SOME of that out. Thanks girls!
I don't know if it will get all, but Soft Scrub is a godsend that works on just about everything I put it on. You can even use it on glass (you know, to get sticky stuff off) and it won't scratch the glass. I get it without bleach.
I had this problem too - we have a plastic shell type unit that has a textured floor. It got pretty grody fast (probably from my overuse of emollient foot scrubs ). BLEACH didn't even work! Eventually, I went at it with a box of baking soda and a stiff-bristled brush - it looks as good as new .

I suggest those harsh abrasive powder cleaners that come in a can like ajax or comet. They've gotton rid of stains like nothing else would and they didn't damage the surface at all.

Me too...I hate the smell of Comet, but nothing else works quite like it.

Haha I had the same problem. I quit the foot scrubs for a while and tried bleach and major elbow grease. No dice. BUT!!! I finally broke down and used the scrubbing bubbles tub cleaner and all the grime magically wiped away! I love those little scrubber guys.

Man, bleach will strip all the color from your hair, eat holes through your clothes, and burn your skin if you let it, but it can't touch Bath & Body Works!?!

Hahaha! I have a Bath & Body works foot scrub that is pretty rich and it left an unbleachable oily residue in the textured surface on the bottom of my tub. I had to use baking soda and alot of elbow grease to get it off.
What did you think I meant ?
