My mom just bought me a coach gallery tote (the smaller one for $298) and i love it. The only problem is that when i zip it open, the zipper opens up all the way so the two flaps that hold the zipper together come apart (kind of hard to explain). But then i have to stick the zipper back in the other flap and hold it with two hands and zip it back up. I think i would get annoyed of doing this so im thinking of returning it. (which sucks bc i love it soooo much!). Does anyone have this purse and can tell me what they do with it? thanks!
I don't have a gallery tote, but I have a coach bag with the same kind of zipper and i have this problem too. I've kind of just learned how to ignore it and it's really not a big deal. Half of the time I don't even bother fixing it, I just leave it unzipped.
i own about a billion coach items - and i've had problems with the zippers more than once - i just take it into the store and they have it fixed for me - it does suck to go a few weeks without your bag, but they always do a good job and i consider it well worth it

I have a gallery to te but mine is the big one so it has a toggle closure. But my other coach bags that close like yours I never zip them unless I'm in the airport or something, it's a real pain the a-- trying to zip and unzip. The problem is the zippers are "collapsable -sp?" they were design to be that way (ofcourse they must designed by men).Alot older women who are paranoid about someone reaching in their bags go and have the zipper clamped at a shoe shop. That way the begginning of the zipper never opens.Maybe you could see about that.
I don't own any coach items, but i've heard lots of stories of people needing to bring them in for repair. I think that for $300. if it's going to be a source of aggravation i'd exchange/return it.
