ok so i know this may be a bit melodramatic but i thought if anyone will have ideas about how to go about getting this dress, it will be the ladies of st--so here's my story....
a loonng time ago (approx. 7 yrs ago) when i was in college i tried on this dress at BCBG and literally fell in love. but alas, i was a poor college student with no $ and nowhere to wear such a fabulous dress. so i didn't get it. and have been suffering the biggest case of non-buyer's remorse ever since. that dress has seriously haunted me. it was so breathtaking you guys, this chiffon grey/white floor length gown w/ the perfect amount of intricate beadwork...sigh.
anyway, i was wondering if you all could think of ANY WAY to even get a picture of the dress so i could have it made.
Two suggestions: 1. Was it featured in their ads, or was it a popular piece? You could look at back issues of fashion magazines at the library. 2. BCBG puts together a "look book" each season that is offered to customers and features all the pieces (as far as I know - it always SEEMS like all of them.) Can you contact BCBG and see if they were doing that back then?
