So I kind of vented about this store in the shopping and fashion thread, but here is the whole review. I ordered this cute purse from their site, and it said that it was a "leather" purse. The shipping was pretty fast, but when I got the purse it was clearly not real leather. The quality was super cheap and it was definitely not worth $130! So I returned it, but I specifically asked them to email me to confirm that they recieved the item. I tracked through USPS that they recieved it on Monday, but they had not emailed me yet by Wednesday. I emailed them on Wednesday to ask if they had recieved it. They never emailed me back either!! So finally I called them this morning to ask, and the SA was extremely rude. Basically they received it and credited my card. Still, their email support sucks!! I would not recommend ordering from them at all.
rocky I wish I had seen this thread yesterday. I called last week because that bag, same one, was showing as backordered on the site and I wanted to know when they would be in stock. I saw them up the next day and placed an order yesterday. I got a call today form a SA saying the bags were back in but there were only 3. (I had already place my order yesterday) You know they are a yahoo store so I am not sure they pay much attention to their online business, and I bet they have a store front in NY.
Well for the lame fact that I really want to like that bag I am trying to hope maybe mine is from a differnt batch. Eternally hopeful. But still I am preparing to return it if I get it and find the same thing you did. Too bad now I'm out the 2 day air shipping fee.
I think it only took a few days for the credit, and a few more days to show up on my online statement...not bad. I hope your purse works out better for you too! I haven't been able to find a good replacement, but there is this black jocasi bag I am considering. I have a jocasi belt and they have great products.
