ok, i loved this episode! finally getting some answers!! anyways, my fave line of the night was of course from bree... when she asked her hubby if he still trembles when she touches him & he said "come on, we've been married 18 years" & she replied "yes, and you still don't know when to lie to me"!! oh man, that was awesome! sad, but awesome! ok, so one question... when lynette & her hubby were arguing about how she always threatens to leave him he said something & she looked floored. then he said "just think of it as something husbands say to their wives" (or something like that)... so what did he say???
Hmmm...ok, not a direct quote at all, but something to the equivalent of 'your jealousy is what is driving me away' I think. He made it sound as if, if he ever did cheat on her, it would only be because her insecurity forced him to.
Actually, here's what happened w/Tom and Lynette - Tom said Lynette always threatens to walk out w/the kids and leave him if he ever cheats. She said "just think of it as one of those things wives say to their husbands". Tom replied by saying "not all wives Lynette, it's like you're purposely trying to drive me to cheat on you just so you prove yourself right." Thats when Lynette looked stunned and said "i can't belive you'd say that Tom" and he said "just think of it as one of those things husbands say to their wives".
Hope that clears it up!
It was a great episdoe. Gabby cracked me up when she screamed at Carlos in front of everyone!

ok, now i'm more confused... i heard when he said the part about proving herself right, & she was all shocked, but i swear he said something after that which shocked her even more & then he responded w/ the "something husbands say" comment.... oh well, no biggie!

no problem crystal! I'll post tomorrow what exactly he said. I can't believe he didn't tell her that his ex girlfriend has been working for him for 3 mos. I would have killed him. I have a feeling that story line has more to it.
Eww and how bout creepy Zack? Could he be any more of a stalker w/Julie? Did you guys see the shrine in his bedroom?

thanks a lot! (btw, we are sooo IMing right now!) ya i agree him not tellling lynette about the ex is atrocious! if he thought she would have reacted badly maybe he should have not hired her at all instead of trying to hide it from his wife!! i also think there's more to the story cuz remember the little snippet that's been glossed over for weeks now when mr. lynette (what's his name??) tells his dad that he's done something bad/wrong? (they were up late one night sitting at the kitchen table) oh & u've just got to read the last part of the TWOP recaplet of DH in reference to zack... made me laugh so hard (www.televisionwithoutpity.com).
Crystal - I was right - I just Tivo'd Desperate Housewives and here's what Tom said to Lynette: "it's like you're so convinced I'm going to cheat, you are trying to purposely drive me out of this marriage just to prove yourself right" She looks at him stunned and says "forget I said that" and she says "it's too late" to which Tom replies "then just consider it something husbands say to their wives"
I know Tom is hiding some secret, but I read in a gossip column that it's not as obvious as him cheating. Maybe it was just the fact that the ex-girlfriend was working for him and he didn't tell Lynette?
