Endless Summer Self Tanner

I used this lotion last year and recently purchased there "new" Gradually Tan lotion and it's great.  I put it on the first time, no streaks and just a bit of color.  Added another application the next day, darkended the color and still no streaks.  I'm a Mystic Tanner during the warmer months but I hate spending the $30 when I'm still having to wear pants and lately long sleeves.  So I look for an alternative and this stuff has worked for me!  I also got some Natural Glow to start trying this weekend.

I'm going to try it-and the natural glow.  Rar210-are you happy with mystic tanning ( I assume you just use it when you'll be in a swimsuit?)

Rar210- I'm currently using the Natural Glow..let us know how it compares to the Endless Summer lotion you've been using.  I'm not sure I'm getting as dark as I'd like w/the Natural Glow, so I'd like to know which you think is better.

You used the Endless Summer self-tanner (not the gradual) last summer?  Is that the one w/the dual pump?  If so, how did you like that?

I actually have the Jergens Natural Glow too.  I haven't really used it much because I've been so HAPPY with the Gradual Tan by Endless Summer.

Yes, I used the other dual pump Endless Summer last year and at the beginning of this season.  It really worked well but it streaked my hands pretty bad.  With the Gradual Tan I have not had that problem. I had went about 5-6 days without anything (it was cold around here) and Monday I put back on the Gradual Tan and applied a second application last night and it looks AWESOME today.  Hands and all!  The first application is pretty light and then you can reapply the next day to make it darker and so on.

I love the Mystic Tan.  When the weather is warm and plans on staying warm I'll start getting that done.  It only last a few days and for $30 I prefer to only go once a week.  So I plan on using the Gradual Tan to maintain my color in between visits.

Hope this helps!!

Thanks for the review rar210.  Would you say you can get pretty dark w/the Coppertone Gradual Tan?  The thing I don't like about Natural Glow now, is that after a few weeks, I can't seem to get any darker than what I am and it's not very dark.

Hey rar - how long do you have to walk around naked with the endless summer?  My bf and I tried it a few years ago when it first came out and I got an amazing tan from it, but we had to walk around my apt for 6 hours totally naked.

That was pretty fun though, hee-hee.

Great! I am so psyched to try this stuff. I haven't been able to get my hands on the Jergens stuff and this sound like it's pretty much the same thing.

I'm going to look for it today and let you gals know what I think of it too.

Thanks, rar!

It says on the back to let it dry before getting dressed and I think it also states that it dries quickly.  I've been getting dressed about 5 min. after applying.  I think you could definetly get pretty dark, the best thing is - with this stuff you control the level.  The smell isn't as bad as some I've tried.  Of course it's not a great smell, but it's definetly something I can live with.  HTH

That helps thanks rar!  I think I'm gonna buy it and try using this instead of the Jergen's.

Hmm, interesting.  I think the "gradual tan" product may be a different animal though.  rar, have you noticed any staining like they describe here?  I'd like to try it, but my duvet is white chenille so I have to be careful. . .

Well, I can only tell you what experiences I've had and I've been getting dressed about 5 min. after applying and I have not experienced any staining.  Even my white blazer I bought from AE - I wore it after applying and it did rub off on the inside.  But I turned it inside out, got a wash cloth and some soap and it came right off.

I've used the endless summer 30min Tan. I like it because you can see the tan developing, and you can quickly cover mistakes. Plus you're tan in 30 mins.

Ok, I used the Gradual Tan for the first time the other night and the smell to me was just awful.  Has anyone else had this happen?  My sheets reeked of it and so did I...even after I showered, I could still slightly smell it.  It makes me not want to use it at all even though everyone seems to say it works great.  I just hate that self-tanner smell.

i just bought this and put on one application last night. so far, so good, although i dont notive any real difference yet, or maybe i do but i feel like its all in my head.  the smell wasnt too pleasant, but i have no idea what self tanner is supposed to smell like. i used it at night and in the morning i didnt notice the smell as much, but i did take a shower.  how dark is everyone getting with this?
