Last semester, I taught a couple of students who went to NYC on a club trip. They were going into a restaurant and Tom Cruise was coming out. They said he was very nice and signed autographs and took pictures with them. They brought back a picture of him to show me that they had taken. It was refreshing to hear about a celebrity being nice to their fans. However, this Katie Holmes thing does not seem to fit.

HAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!! Creepy and beady-eyed. Hilarious. I used to find him attractive when he was younger, but the older he's gotten, the more skeeved out I've become by him.

Ahahaha creepy and beady-eyed... SO true! It's definitely not the actual age difference (see previous remark about Clive Owen), but he just has not aged well, I don't think. He was pretty when he was younger, although I never liked him myself, but these days he just looks kinda worn out. Scientology must not be doing it for him.

Her parents are really excited about it. Her father ia an acquittance type friend of my father and my brother new her when they were in high school. He went to a private school that had dances w/ her private school and they dated a few times. Our parents tried to set them up. ANYWHO- my dad said her dad was "giddy" about them dating, but was a little concerned about Tom being involved in Scientology.

I think I am a little skeezed about 26 year old and almost 50 year old dating, but I don't know if I would be able to turn down Tommy if he asked me out, so...

I have to agree with laken. Come on ya'll this is Tom Cruise. She's cute and all but she is not nearly in his league. Also, he really loves tall women-she may be the one for him
