I was off on Friday as well, had to go back home for a wedding.

Back on track today:

B: coffee

L: about 1/2 cup or so of leftover vegetable LoMein.

D: not sure yet, I dont think I'll really feel like cooking tonight so I was thinking soup and grilled cheese, but thats a whole lot of sodium for the day then... maybe I'll have a bagel and some fruit or something like that?

E: cardio at the gym. My IPod is at home charging so I have no excuse not to go.

I seriously ingested so much food and drink this weekend I thought I was going to explode... it was the too much drink that actually brought on the exploding feeling but I digress. The weekdays are so much easier than the weekends.

B: 1 slice reduced-fat cheddar cheese (2 points)

S: light vanilla yogurt (2 points)

L: 2 taco bell tostadas, fresco style (8 points)

D: chicken caesar salad with fat-free italian dressing from Jason's Deli

E: 5 mile walk today. It'll be good times - as long as the rain holds off. Otherwise it'll be wet times.

I've been thinking/theorizing a bit about how my 'new' diet is affecting my body and have made come to some realizations.  Just thought I'd share and see if anyone else had noticed anything similar?

1.  I now find that being overly full is one of the most uncomfortable feelings ever.  I can't stand it!  I think I would rather live with the 'hungry' feeling than the 'too full' feeling.

2.  If I do overeat, my system freaks out.  I never realized how much overindulging causes digestive issues and how they can so easily be avoided.

3.  Eat like crap = Feel like crap AND Eat well = Feel well.  For instance, I ate about 7 oatmeal raisin cookies (the ones that broke ) while I was baking on Saturday night and felt soooooo ill afterward I just wanted to sleep.  Man I must be getting old!

4.  Not feeling satisfied doesn't necessarily mean you're still hungry.

Hmmm, all these things sound so common-sensical when I see them written out.  They are things I've known intellectually all along but only now really 'believe' since I can actually see the effect in my everyday life.

Here, here girl!  That one is my biggest hurdle.  I can eat a 10 course meal & be stuffed to the max but if someone brings out dessert, I'm all for it!!
