Ladies, I am open to any and all suggestions for a wedding dress to be worn in a elope-type ceramony at City Hall. Weather is upper 50's to low 60's. I want something quick too. Nothing that requires alterations, or at least none that couldn't be done immediately (like simple hemming is ok).
I don't even care about the color, I don't have anything in mind at all, so any style, color, whatever. Just suggest something (and it has to be available quick). TIA
I saw this one on the BR website and thought it would be pretty for this occassion. Not sure if your store has it though since it is completely sold out online:
All of those are perfect - as in exactly what will work for this type of wedding.
I like the Banana dress, except for the sash.
You ladies with the Anthro dresses are too funny - you definately know my tastes in clothes, hee, hee.
I guess looking at those I do prefer the cream/white one with blue sash. I like that it does evoke a wedding type feel to it. They are sold out online, but I called for a store search and they have one in my size. Hopefully it looks as good on as in the photo.
If it fits, that's the one I will go with. I think I will just wear my diamond earrings and tennis bracelet for jewelry since that's all I have that is fancy in the way of jewelry. How about shoes to match?
I like both of the white anthro dresses posted. I hope the white and blue one works out for you. I think it would be very pretty and work well for you.
congratulations! for some reason i like the idea of a suit...i like this, but it might be a smidge too cutesy. (sorry for the huge pic, but i like the detailing which isn't so clear on the small pic.)
i saw the white anthro one with the blue sash in person the other day--it's very cute. the fabric is very thin, so it's not really super-dressy, almost more like a slip dress.
i ADORE that one fashionprincess posted--is that the tracy reese one? i saw it in a store recently and went gaga. so pretty. that is totally what i would pick for that scenario--it kind of makes me think of marilyn monroe a little bit, too. i think the anthro one is more drew's style, though, based on the cute anthro outfits she posts in threadstyle.
