Does anyone know if you can buy Bumpits anywhere individually instead of in the kit? I just want one mini bumpit but all I can find anywhere are $20 combo packs with all this other stuff I don't want. Blech.

Tati - it's a little gizmo you put under your hair to create height without a ton of teasing. Here's the website, it explains it better than I can:

Kitty - no, I've never used them, I just saw them online and thought it would be good because I especially have a hard time getting a "bangs bump" with just teasing - I don't know what to call it, but I mean like this:

FYI they really suck and I wouldn't recommend them.

I echo this.  They're very difficult to use and hard to hide in the hair.  I bought them and never wore them out.

Intriguing. I had to check the site. I love that they can air a commercial and then say "as seen on TV." Hilarious.

In what universe is this an attractive look? I just think "conehead."

Uhh... this thread is so disappointing. I really wanted to try them because I think they look cool and I love me some big hair, but since the opinion is they suck I guess I won't be ordering them.

^^ yeah, do NOT order. Even after watching the youtube videos, I can't get them to look normal. They just don't work.

i like the look too and think you might be able to achieve it another way. i know back "in the day" they used to use what's called a "rat". basically a mesh roll that you tuck under your hair. softer and more pliable than a plastic comb like deal and less noticable. anyway, i think most beauty salons sell them. there's probably some instruction online somewhere as to how to attach and style. dont give up yet!!!

I was thinking of grabbing some of these as well. I saw them at sally's but didn't know what they were at the time. So I know you can get them there.
