Lately I am noticing that my lashes are not what they used to be. I thought this was simply bc I've been cheaping out and buying drugstore mascara, not my HG Diorshow. Well, as a treat, I bought Diorshow and still had the same pathetic sparse lashes. I am so saddened. I have fine, blondish lashes and I love to build volume to accentuale my eyes.
I feel like posting a before/after pic to show you guys the change! (maybe later)
I've been taking daily vitamins and biotin. Nothing much has changed except I'm under alot of stress and maybe eating less meat. Would these things affect lashes?
Have any of you experienced success with changes in diet/any products?
TIA!

Have you been through something stressful recently? It could be Telogen Effluvium, which is what I think happened to me with all of my divorce mess and the grief and trauma I was feeling a few months back, which caused my follicles to rest. TE is a temporary condition, so if that's what it is, the hair should grow back.
I don't know how to fix the problem or regrow the hair, but I have been using individual false lashes to look back to normal.

There are those eye drops for glaucoma that are now being marketed for improving eyelashes. I'm sure it is pretty expensive though. http://www.latisse.com/
Go to makeupalley.com and look up reviews for castor oil. They say that it will help with sparse eyelashes and eyebrows. Very inexpensive, so may be worth a try. I have been meaning to try this. Who doesn't want longer eyelashes?

Thanks for this suggestion. I have found a million diff reviews. Some claim that it can cause blindness, some claim it is a miracle, other say it didn't work at all.
Since Castor Oil is featured in LOTS of products, even onces I've used I think it will at least be safe. So starting today I'm going to try it and document my progress with pics. Will update regularly if I see results.
If I were you I'd call your opthomologist or (if you don't have one) even your regular doc before putting something on your eyes that isn't specifically made for eyes. Even if your products have it, they may have it in very low quantities. I'm just a lot more careful about my eyes because if I put something on my skin that is bad, a rash or a scar is way less serious than blindness!

I've posted about this in the past! I get samples from a girlfriend that works in that field. She sales them to me for only $20. I LOVE them! It works quick and they grow long. My MIL never had lashes and she uses this stuff too and her lashes look great! I know about 4 more girls in my family that buy these samples and they love it! the doctor says if your cant handle it...your eyes will get a little red and thats it. Then that goes away. The girl i actually buy them from, thats what happend to her.
Sounds like those eyedrops may work.. don't think I have a medical hookup though........... er
I'm still going to forge ahead w the Castor Oil. IN MY OPINION every eye doctor and dermatologist has HATED anything I've used that didn't put money in their pocket so of course they're going to steer me away from a natural solution and tell me to get that expensive new treatment for lashes.
Castor oil is ingestible so seems safe enough. I used to use Ardel Lash Growth Accelerator which has castor oil in it and no irritation. The texture is gross though! Took some "before" shots last night.
