I want to make things easier and just have the bridesmaids pick their own shoes. Do you think black would look okay with the dress color? The wedding is in October if that helps. I was going to tell them all to just wear black pointy toe shoes.

Black would be fine.  If you wanted a lighter color silver or gold would work too.

black would be fine, though if i were just putting together a look myself i probably wouldn't wear black shoes with that color dress.  i'd probably do silver, buuut...if i recall, you have quite a few bridesmaids, and it might just be simpler and easier for them to find something they like that's black.  it certainly wouldn't look bad, the dresses are floor length anyway.
