okay i think i am going to go with these:

nunzi found these that are on sale for $20.  after looking at them, i noticed that they look whiter than the pic above.  the color listed is "white."  i want to make sure they are the same color as above (and not white white) before i order them.  here's the link, pic won't post.

these seem MORE like the color in the first picture (color listed as ivory), so normally i would just get them, but they are full price:

this site also lists white as a color.  i hope this makes sense (i'm really tired right now).  basically just want to know if that first shoe that's on sale is the same color as the one in the pic, even though it's listed as white (they also show a whiter color and call it "optical white."  anyone??

I think the sale ones are the ivory, like you want, the optic white is more true white. HTH

thanks, pink.  i ordered them just now - hoping they are not going to be too white, but will be off-white/ivory like the picture!  thanks again to nunzi for the heads up on these!

Nice price!  Just make sure you apply a few coats of waterproofer before you wear them!

Thjanks, elle.  i actually hadn't thought of that.  what kind of waterproofer do you use and where do you buy it?  i have a shoe repair place close by but maybe they sell it at target??

I bought mine at Target - it's back in the shoe section on the endcap with the extra laces and sole inserts and stuff.  $6-ish, I think?
