Do you exfoliate your face? If so, how often and what brand do you use? I just recently bought the St. Ives Apricot Exfoliating face scrub. I try to do it at least 2-3x's a week, but haven't done it this week.
Just curious!
P.S. I'm completely bored at work, just waiting on lmy unch hour!! LOL

I use St. Ives as well (3x a week) but I also like Neutragena's daily scrub for something milder that I can use more open. Sometimes I'll make an aspirin mask at night and that exfoliates as well when you rinse it off (but then I won't use anything for the rest of the week.) I guess I like to mix it up. But the key is not to do it too often.
I hear you about work. But since we just came off our busy season, I'm kind of savoring the boredom right now.
I aspirin masks! I try to do those at least once a week, but otherwise I just use a nubby washcloth in the shower if I'm feeling flaky. I don't find the St.Ives scrub to be very exfoliating on the face - the granules are too large and there's not enough of them IMO.

I need to try Elle's aspirin mask, I hear people raving about it every once in a while.
Right now, I use Biore's pore minimizing facial exfoliator (I think that's the name?) and I use it about 2-3x a week, just in the shower after I wash my face. I used to use an apricot scrub but I heard a facialist say it was super bad for your skin, that apricot is too harsh. So I threw it away!

I use St. Ives Apricot scrub as well. Sometimes I use it everyday and sometimes I go weeks without it depending on my skin. I also just bought a tube of Origins Modern Friction (an old forgotten staple) and use that 1-2x a week.
The St.Ives one really hurts my face, I don't know if it's the shell fragments or what. I use Caudalie Daily Scrub and it has never bothered me. I do it about once a week (just to get off any extra makeup and oils) and my skin is so soft
I use Peter Thomas Roth AHA/BHA scrub for face and body (or something close to that name). It's a big bottle that lasts a long time. Sometimes I use Olive Oil and sugar.
Cool, cool. I was just wondering what everyone was using. LOL I have heard that you CAN exfoliate too often, so that's why I try to do it at "LEAST" 2wice a week, but haven't this week. And I may also try the crushed aspirin.... NEVER done that before!!!

I think too much exfoliation is a different amount for everyone! Depends on your skin type, skin issues, what other products you're using, age, etc. It can definitely do more harm than good if you do it too often for *you*. I mean for crying out loud - I exfoliate daily and use straight rubbing alcohol on my face (aka Things You're Never Supposed To Do!) and my skin has never looked better! If it works for you, screw what 'they' say.

Very true. I also exfoliate more in the winter than in the summer. You figure out what is right for you.
