it was you that was trying to recreate meg ryan's cover look, right?  last night i saw a silver sequin tank in a vs catalog (the new shoe one) that i thought could work.  i just checked and couldn't find it on the site - they don't even have the catalog online so i could look in there -  but i wanted to let you know.  i'll try to remember to look it up when i get home tonight and post it for you.

Oh thanks!  I don't remember getting the shoe catalog from VS.  If you could scan the picture and order number with price I sure would appreciate it.  Hmmm, actually I think if you just give me the number I can quick look it up on the website. I am just not sure if I will get to see the picture that way.


That is so nice of you to look out for me like that.


I always think of you when I put on this ring I have and love that you picked out for me way back on Lucky or FH. ;)

haha - i totally forgot about that ring!  the one with the rainbow stone, right?  i loved that ring.


so there's no pic of the tank online, but the item number is np-183-263.  and because i'm living in the stone age i have no scanner, nor even a digital camera (bf lost that - oh i mean "someone stole it" - but hopefully i'm getting one for my bday in a few weeks!  i want to post in threadstyle!)...i'd be happy to rip out the page and mail it to you if you want me to, though.  it's called the sequin wrap, though the wrap side is facing away from the camera so i can't really tell what it looks like.  it costs $68 and is imported ramie/cotton.  it's a tank with thick straps and the neck goes pretty deep - you might have to wear something underneath.  it looks like it ties with a thin white ribbon, and it's white underneath with silver sequins on it, with the white still showing around all the edges.  i can't tell if the back is sequined or white...i'm betting white.  and it's very fitted on the model, but what in the vs catalog isn't?


so maybe it's not as close to what you're looking for as i first thought, but like i said, i'd be happy to send it to you.  just let me know! 


just looked quickly, and i'd say the top of the shirt is similar to this one, for depth of neckline and thickness of straps..but the straps on the sequin one aren't gathered or anything.

Yesterday evening I got the shoe book from VS and there it was in the first few pages.  I didn't notice the white in the top; maybe it was the lighting  in my house at that time.  I think it will do though and I am gonna order it and just see.
