I was wondering if anybody might have some input on this. A good friend of mine is getting married in Key West this June and had an idea to name the tables at the reception with street names from around the island (Duval St, etc.). Does anybody have any fun, creative ideas for how to display them? She's using neutral, beach tones like sand, gold, etc.
Write them in sand and then take pictures of them, then display the pics in holders or beach themed frames. Or else, you could take pics of the actual street signs with her and her fiance in them. Those are really cute, and great keepsakes.
She could also get some small, pretty shells and use them to spell the street names. Then she could either photograph them and frame the prints or glue the actual shells to a mat and frame that shadow-box style. It might also be cute to make them up like little street signs, then attach them to picks and stick them in a bucket of wheat grass/sand/shells or something.
