Updates on Natural glow?

Ok- I finallly found it.  Is everyone still liking it?  This is my first self tanner and OMG, the smell!  Do you put it on everyday or every other day?  I was thinking 2-3 times a week to maintain.  How long does the color take to develop- i.e. when can I wash it off?  The smelllll!

that's funny... i was just looking at my legs today and thinking how much i love jergens! it's so easy! i am truly in love with this product. there is a smell. someone on mua described it as ritz crackers(?).... but i have had some serious funky odors from others (esp. neutrogena and estee lauder) that have lingered and lingered for days. at least the smell on jergens doesn't last past my shower.

i usually put it on at night every other day or every two days. when i remember. i have color but i'm not "tan."

i am half-way thru my first bottle and i've been to like 20 stores to find another one!!!!!!!!!!!! none in sight!

All I can say is me and my white legs are jealous of you Jergen's Natural Glow owners.  I have been all over my county to no avail.

I talked with a manager at CVS on Saturday and gave her my number.  She promised to call as soon as it comes in.  Still haven't heard from her...

Three applications of the medium one and my legs are plenty dark enough for me. I'm applying it every other day, since IMO you don't get much product for the price and because if I applied it every day my legs would look so ridiculously dark. I'm not applying it anywhere else because my arms are perpetually tan and my face is as well.

I don't think the smell is any worse than old-school Coppertone sunscreen, which I used to slather on religiously when I lived at the town pool. I apply it right after my shower and I don't have any problems with my legs being stinky or anything.

the chemical that turns you brown (DHA) is what smells so bad.  it's the active ingredient in all self-tanners, so you can't really avoid it.  believe it or not, the jergens one is a much lower concentration than some others.  lynnie, i'm sensitive to it also, and some stronger self-tanners literally make me sick.

I have been using the medium shade every day for a little over a week and love it.  I think the first week you use it, you are supposed to use it every day and then maybe every couple days to maintain.  If you skip a few days, the color starts to fade.  I know because I skipped the weekend and lost a lot of the color I had.  I started up again last night, but I'm almost out of my first bottle and can't find it anywhere!  Everyone is sold out.  I agree that it has a little bit of that self-tanner smell, but compared to ones I've used in the past, like Neutrogena, this is nothing, and once I shower in the morning, the smell is gone.  I really love this stuff and plan to use it all summer.

I haven't even noticed the smell at all.

I've been using the fair skin one every day for about week and have just the faintest amount of color.  I didn't want to go w/ the darker one because I just wanted a hint of tan, but I'll definitely get the medium tone next time.

I love it, I think it is super easy to use.  It's actually perfect for me because I don't really care about being tan, I just don't like to be so pasty that my legs almost look blue.

ooohhh...the smell...ugh.  i started using it on sunday.  put it on around 5ish or so.  i could hardly fall asleep from the stentch.  used it for the second time last night, and i put it on about 30 minutes before bed.  i didn't notice the smell at all unless i really stuck my nose against my arm.  i think it must take a little while for the smell to permeate the area.  BUT it is nowhere near as bad as the other self tanners i've tried, the smell is pretty faint, and easily washes away in the shower.

so far i like it a lot.  i've got a couple streaks near my ankle, but that's cause i didn't know what to do with my ankle, i didn't want a white patch, but didn't want them all super tan either.  it should even out in a day or two.  i'm a haphazard lotion spreader too, i should mention.  your results may vary.

i had kind of given up on ever being tan again, since i just could never master the self tanner thing, but this is great.  any little smudges or mistakes fade quicker and are easily covered up the next day with more lotion.  and i like the very natural bronziness of it.  just looks healthy.  here

I'm happy w/mine too. i didnt see any difference in my skin color after 2 days, but after the 3rd, I felt really tan, so tan that I had to stop using it for a couple days so my co-workers wouldn't wonder. Its a really natural, nice bronze color. The smell isnt great, but it fades quickly (or maybe I just get used to it & everyone thinks I'm smelly!!!)

See now, I am having a bit of an issue w/it, I defintely look like i have some color, but I'm not getting really really tan.  And I put it on at night right before bed, and then shower the next morning, and it seems to fade.  Is this what you guys are doing, or are you putting it on in the morning and wearing it all day?

I have been using Neutrogena Build A Tan--how does the Jergens compare to it?

I put it on after my shower at night. So it doesnt get washed off until I shower 24 hrs later.

I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS STUFF.

I can't believe you have a hard time finding it! There seems to be a billion bottles everywhere I go.

I'm EXTREMELY fair, and I've used the one for light skin three times and now have very noticeable and realistic color. It's not orange at all. I put regular lotion on my elbows, knees, ankles, and feet before applying and this has kept it from streaking. I LOVE this stuff, because I'm always so bad with self tanner, but this is pretty foolproof. I put it on at night and the smell is pretty bad, but gone after my shower in the morning. I may try the medium shade next time.

Haha probably because most South Carolinians have no need for it because they frequent the UltraTan.  I know--I used to be one of them.

Does no one else have a problem with splotchy legs with this stuff?

I don't use mine everyday, probably because I hate the smell so much.  Even if I put it on at night and take a shower the next day, I still smell it after the shower!!  I do like that it gives me some color though so I use it every few days.

they had none at Target and 2 bottles at Walgreens so I bought them both for fear of not being able to find any later on.

can't wait to use it tonight.

If you want to drive to Geneva my CVS had 1 bottle left when I got mine this week.  I should have grabbed it because now I'm worried I won't get any more when mines gone
