Correctional contacts for color blindess
Permalink Closed

My boyfriend is color blind but we have heard about contact lenses that correct color blindess.  He isn't completely colorblind....its just the type with the red/blue deficiency.  I have done a bit of online research on this but my question is, do you think it would be easy to obtain these contacts from any eye doctor? Or is it a more complicated process? does anyone have any experience with this?

If they're available by prescription I don't see why he wouldn't be able to get them through an eye doctor ...?

insurance might not cover it, but I don't think they should be difficult to physically get, assuming they're fda approved and available or whatever...
