My youngest brother is getting married on Labor Day weekend so I am starting to look for outfits for all the things going on this summer.  I like this dress for one of the showers and figured that i could wear it for some other events I have this Spring/Summer.  I'm not sure how to accessorize it though.  I have nude platform sandals, but are they kind of blah with the black & white motif?  Any suggestions?

I think it needs sparkle - GOLD. The fabric is very busy, so just a gold bracelet &/or dangling earrings will be fine. COntrast bold color shoe/clutch also sounds like fun ( fuscia/bright yellow/orange).

Lime green could work too. I agree the dress is a tad busy so you don't want to put too much with it as far as jewelry goes but a little will help.

My friend has a pair of hot pink shoes that she gets comments from people every time she wears them (including straight guys). That would add some color and fun to the dress as well.

I would definitely go with a pop of color in the shoes, any bright color though I'm not a fan of yellow with black. reminds me of when my mother made me dress as a bumble bee for halloween.

Thanks everyone! I tend not to use too many patterns in dressing so the busyness was really throwing me off. Most of my jewelry is simple so I'm good there. I like the idea of a colored shoe so it looks like I'm going shoe shopping!

I wore hot pink shoes with a black/white outfit on Easter and got lots of compliments. Turquoise/teal would also be pretty, and you can't go wrong with red.
