Rue La La is having an R&R sale soon so I'm trying to think ahead here.
I did a search but I'm confused - some old threads say that Rock & Republics run big, some say that they run small! Does anyone know?
Honestly, until lately I've not had much of an inclination to buy jeans that cost more than like $35 because I'm a cheapskate. I usually wear an 8. I tried on some Miss Me jeans a while ago and they fit me in a size 30. Does this sound right? Is that what I should go off of for Rock & Republic? I can't find a very helpful size guide online.
I did find this size guide which makes it sound like I should be a 29 in most brands.
I only have one pair. They are 27 (and I usually wear 27 or 28) but these grow on me and become HUGE. They are more like 29s. Sorry - I can't tell how to find out what "name" they are. I've had them forever and they're slim kinda skinny legs (but end up being not that skinny). I think R& R can be very inconsistent w/sizing.
Rock and Republics are terrible sizing wise. Every time I think I know my size I try a pair on and they are no where near the right size. I've never tried a brand that was this inconsistent as ViVi said.
I have one pair. I think they are one of their cheaper styles that I have in a 29 (I was a larger 6 with hips at the time). I bought them as tight as I could and I wish I wouldn't have because I've only worn them a handful of times. They seem a tad harder to stretch than my 7s.
I LOVE my R&Rs! I have the Henlee cut, which I think is technically a boys cut, but I got them in the women's section. I got them in a 30, and I wear anywhere from a 27-30 in all other sizes (usually a 29). These are the only jeans I've found that my husband actually likes, so I bought 2.
Thanks girls! I decided not to order during the sale because it sounds like it would be easy to get the wrong size, and I think I can only get store credit from Rue La La if I return stuff. BUT this is very helpful because it sounds like it's worth searching them out in a B&M store!
