Please tell me someone else here does this...when I'm bored at work I go on blogs and look at hundreds of pictures of yummy dishes. I found this great website this week that you foodies must check out- www.tastespotting.com

Are there any others that you love?

thanks for the site, interesting and yummy looking food.  i wish i had a website to contribute, but mine are limited to diet food websites.  i LOVE food though, so i'm always looking for recipes (even if i have to lighten them up or only make it on special occasions).  some blogs i like are:

eatdrinkandbeaware.blogspot.com
yummydietfood.blogspot.com
butweight.typepad.com (though she hasn't updated this in a long time)
shallwecook.blogspot.com (though not healthy, this is good southern food)

I read a lot of food blogs in my rss reader. I don't really have the patience to make any meal that will take more than a half hour of active time, but it's nice to dream anyway!

My downfall is baking websites. I loooooove to bake (and I will spend much more than the aforementioned half hour!). I have zillions of recipes bookmarked for cake, cookies, brownies, cupcakes, bread....but I have to control myself because all that sugar isn't good! I just found this website yesterday while searching for a way to make homemade Almond Joy bars:

http://healthyindulgences.blogspot.com

She basically tries to re-create sugary goodies in a more healthy way. I am really excited to try a lot of this stuff out, especially since she doesn't really use sugar. I've been wanting to experiment with sweeteners like erythritol and stevia, but since most blogs and books don't use those ingredients, I was intimidated to try experimenting on my own.

Thanks for sharing this link! I made the Crock Pot Chicken Taco Chili this weekend and it was so yummy.  It was my first time making something in the crock pot, I was surprised DH like it too.  I'll be eating this for lunch everyday this week, its a big pot!

This is as good as any food blog gets...totally amazing photos, great writing, recipes. Don't let the fact that it's vegan sway you - these people KNOW how to cook.
