i just got a digital camera (finally) and it takes AAs. i've read reviews saying you should use rechargeables, and that's cool, but do i have to use the brand ones? my camera's a Canon and when i bought it, Amazon suggested the Canon batteries, but i don't really need those, right? i was hoping i could just buy some at wal-mart and save a little money. but i have no idea if you're really supposed to use the proprietary batteries or if it matters. i mean, i just have some Duracell ones in there now.
i just looked to see what my rechargeable batteries were and they are Kodak and I have a Kodak digital camera... i dont know for sure- the SA at Best Buy just handed me the stuff i needed and i went to the checkout... maybe someone else will know???
I use rechargeable batteries for my wireless keyboard and mouse and I went to Wal-Mart and got a pack of energizer batteries. I don't see why you'd need a certain brand - unless someone else comes up with a really good reason - just go to Wal-Mart, and save the money!
