Does anyone use MAC Blot pressed powder or MAC Matte bronzing powder?  They are both featured in the April InStyle, and I was thinking of buying them.  I've liked everything by MAC I've ever tried, but I'm just wondering if someone who's used them could post a review.  Thanks!

I love MAC Blot powder!!!!!  I have very shiny skin and it takes away that mid-day shine without looking like you just glopped a bunch of powder or makeup on.  It's sheer and colorless so it looks very natural while still doing the job.

Oh it's colorless?  Hmm, I didn't realize that.  Can it take the place of the powder I currently use that has color, meaning will it work as a cover up or does it just blot shine?

I love Blot Powder too. It is a translucent powder but it comes in 3 different shades.
It's not going to cover anything up though. I use foundation or concealer for that.

Ok, let me explain.  Right now I use a coverup concealor and then I use powder over that.  Could this take the place of that powder?

But what I'm really interested to know is if the Blot powder can replace the power I currently use over my coverup?  The powder I use right now has color to it.

Since you already have a concealer taking care of the color issue, using the colorless Blot would still set the concealer, which I've always thought was the purpose to using powder. HTH.

I love the blot powder too. You probably could use it after foundation or concealer, but I still use my regular powder, but all I carry in my purse is the blot powder. It really is great, and I think that it lasts a long time.
