Has anyone ever done paid online focus groups, mystery shopping, online surveys for money? We always talk about it in my marketing classes and how much money businesses are spending on online marketing research- but i don't know how to get involved because I don't want to be scammed. Are sites like: http://www.onlinejobcorps.com/index.htm legit? I like giving my opinions on products so it would be awesome to get paid to do this. Any experiences?
I do one and get amazon gift cards. it got bought out by keynote so try keynote.com for now but its book marked on my work computer so I'll put the address I go to tomorrow when i'm there.
I also do erewards but is ok not great. The gifts you can earn kinda suck. To sign up you have to be referred by a "sponsor" - hilton, hertz, blockbuster, etc but everyone gets referred and you don't get junk mail.
I do mypoints.com which is a points reward system and you can earn giftcards to restaurants, macy's, bloomies, etc. Its pretty good but mainly you earn points by getting email but sometimes they do surveys. If you want a referral pm me and I can send you one through email
I just got into this other one but I don't remember the name you earn hi points and they can be redeemed for something but can't remember. I can check at work and post tomorrow also.
Oh I did sign up for buzzback.com not to long ago and have gotten one $ check but they don't send surveys out that much. But you might as well sign up for them too.
I did sign up for some mystery shopping sites but they all sucked. I would get hundreds of emails a month to go mystery shop Sonic! It just wasn't worth it and you could only mysery shop like once every 3 months. So not worth it.
Edit: I checked the site you posted. There are enough free sites out there. You should never have to pay to do this. The site you posted was $35.00 with no guarantees!
lsubatgirl - please post the correct link for the surveys you do for Keynote that earns you Amazon gift cards. I'm interested in this too. I checked keynote.com, and I don't think that's the right website.
Ok found the correct name for the site keynote bought out and googled it to get the sign up page (usually they just email you a link when a survey is available and you never go to this site)
