Sookie Stackhouse/ southern vampire series

My SIL has been reading the sookie stackhouse books/ the southern vampire series and watching True blood so she talked me into reading them too. I remember a thread awhile back where a few people here said they had read them. I've only read the first book so far and liked it. They are good not as good as twilight lol but still good. Anyone else reading these or watching the show?

I've read all the books so far (well, heard the audiobooks), and am watching the show. Trashy but fun.

i've read them all too.  the good thing about them is ( for me at least) you can read them in a couple of hours. 

i think each book gets a little goofy-er...  there are too many kinds of supernatural things.

i'm on the fence if i'm going to get the next one.

I finished the last one sometime last week and the first chapter for the new book that comes out in May. Like jrhampt said they are kind of trashy but fun :) After the new book comes out I want to start watching the series. I need something to entertain me. I seem to be bored a lot more than I remember being in awhile lol.
