OMG!!!! This cracks me up. I was just discussing this very point with a friend last night. Neither of us knew what it meant either. Thanks, gruiz, for the def. I feel more in "the know" now. It was the same with Scrubs. Context let me know a scrub wasn't a cool guy but I wasn't really sure why. I love when a song increases my vocabulary.

i thought "hollaback" had something to do with the backup dudes on a rap song also.  like the one on the usher song that just says "yeah...yeah...yeah" for the whole song.
