about 1/2 hour for the whole thing: shower, blow-dry hair, make coffee, a bit of makeup, pick out an outfit, leave house. although i usually try to give myself an hour so that i can be leisurely. i'm the opposite of a morning person, but if i can sit and drink my coffee slowly, wash whatever dishes are in sink, pack random things into my tote as i think of them, etc. i am usually happier throughout the day.
Everything included it takes me a little under an hour to get ready. The bulk of my time is spent doing my hair, about 20 minutes. I pick out my clothes, iron them and shower at night (I feel dirty getting into the bed without a shower, I'm really weird about it). It takes me around 20 minutes to eat breakfast. Usually I warm my car (in the winter) while I put on my makeup in the house, which takes around 15 minutes, during which I am running around stuffing my purse, putting on mascara and eyeshadow and finding matching earrings.

30 minutes which doesn't seem that long but is pathetic considering how little i do. i shower and pick out my clothes at night. so in the morning i wash my face, run my fingers through my hair (though to be honest if the bun i put in at night looks relatively decent i don't bother) pack my bag, and run out the door. i'm not a morning person, so a lot of this time is spent dawdling around my apt. and i almost always end up forgetting to pack something i need for the day.
15 min shower 10 min makeup 15 min hair-drying and styling (thick hair goo) 10 min bfast and email 10 min picking out what to wear, brushing teeth, etc.
but it's amazing how fast i can get ready if i'm late to class....funny how that happens :)
