haha!! i had to laugh at the image of a "poop ball" rolling!

my worst spill happened just a few weeks ago. my husband and i were making a double batch of bar-b-que meatballs because his sisters and brothers were visiting us. we had the homemade sauce in a HUGE bowl on the kitchen counter. i just turned around when a bag of flour came tumbling out of an upper cabinet and landed on the bowl of sauce, causing the whole thing to fall on the floor. i was covered in sauce from head to foot. the floor, the stove, all of the lower cabinets, and the carpeting in the dining area also got sauced. it was a humongous mess.

after cleaning up, we just made another batch and the meatballs still turned out great.

i spilled an entire glass of merlot on a pr of white joie pants the very first day i wore them (at a concert/outdoor picnic). most of the stain came out but the pants were never the same again.

ok. this might be tmi for some of you....

the 3 things that stand out are:

1. my kids poop, But actually diarrhea! He couldn't hold it in and left a trail on the carpet leading to the carpet! It was just NASTY!

2. Breast milk. I dont know what I was thinking, but I was having sex with husband with no bra on.... and well, lets just say spilled milk is spilled milk no matter what! ( i was on top of him too! lol!!!)

3. Hot boiling water from my 1st job ever. Fell on top of my right breast and little near my belly button. Got 1st and 2nd degree burns. Finally got a tattoo to cover my scar on breast. Now I'm not so self conscience about it.

I can't think of any one specific time that was the worst, but can remember several spills...

- I was silk screening in art class, and squeegeed all my silk screen paint onto the front of my brand new jeans that I loved. it was their first wearing, and I completely ruined them.

- I grabbed a bottle of russian dressing and gave it a shake, only to find out that the previous user did not screw the top on, and the dark red dressing went all over the wall...

- I was young and poor, and spent a few precious dollars on a cream cardigan. I made speghetti and was eating it on a tray in front of the tv and spilled the entire plate down the front of my new sweater (I was able to get it out!)

- the worst spill I ever witnessed (I didn't do it) was at a fine restarant, and the server spilled the entire dessert tray down a woman's back.

I was at a very casual bar-type that had those refillable plain red squeeze bottles for their ketchup. When I went to put some next to my fries the cap - which must have only been about 1/2 turn closed in the first place - popped off under the pressure of me squeezing the bottle and blorked ketchup everywhere. It filled my whole plate, ran onto the table, and over onto the floor. I got dirty looks from everyone around us, and had to clean it up myself with napkins

!

I also once upended an entire cookie sheet full of unbaked burritos topped with cheese on the open door of a hot oven. Fun to clean, that.

A couple of weeks ago, I dropped a pizza box with a brand spanking new, piping hot pizza. It hit the sidewalk/planter outside my unit door. If having the pizza with the lovely cheese falling down the plant container wasn't bad enough, the marinara sauce that came on the side, dropped out, burst open and sent marinara everywhere - this is cement, so it was lovely trying to clean it up (particularly as my neighbors all walked by - my building is very Melrose Place-ish, so you can imagine what that was like...).

The worst part is that I ended up having to eat a Lean Cuisine for dinner... cry
