Less expensive foundation?

I really love Nars balanced liquid foundation. But at $40 it just too expensive for me right now.

Does anyone have a cheaper liquid foundation that they love for light, dry-combination skin?

I really like Almay. I've been using them for awhile and like the results. I also have dry-combination skin.

I use Almay's Nearly Naked touch pad. It's very light and the touch pad makes it easier to use.

Rimmel cool matte 16h foundation!
ry%3D400

It's very similar to the Maybelline mousse foundation, but I bought it b/c it was less expensive.
The nuance I use is 202 (classic beige)

I used Revlon Custom Creations before, and right now I am supplementing my Dior foundation with Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse, and it's nice for d/s foundation.

I recently had to downgrade from my fav Clinique foundation and I really liked Revlon Color Stay Makeup with SoftFlex SPF15. I have no idea what Soft Flex is, but I bought the Normal/Dry Skin version as I have a few dry areas on my face. I think it runs about $10 and the coverage is Medium to Full if you layer it. HTHs!

i also have dry/combo skin that's fair (and sensitive) if you only need light/medium coverage, i highly recommend clinques almost makeup, its $20.50 at sephora...not super cheap, but half what you were paying before, and i swear it last forever...plus, if you hate it, they'll happily take it back!

I would suggest the new Sally Hansen Your Skin inspired by Carmindy foundation.  It is $12.99 at CVS, and is the best drug store foundation I have ever used.  Having said that, I also second the Revlon Color Stay and the Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse as decent alternatives to try.

I second this rec. - I've been wearing it for about 6 months now and LOVE it!

I know this doesn't help your cause but I use BE's mineral foundation and the jar is like $24 and it lasts almost a year so the $$ probably evens out.

I kind of hate drugstore makeup, the way that you cant test any item out, cant smell, feel texture try the color.. it drives me mad.
