So I had J Crew do a search for the Rolling Ruffles tank in Charcoal. And I didn't hear anything so I assumed they didn't find it. A week later I had them do another search for the tank in Natural. And I didn't hear anything again.
I just checked my cedit card statement and I had been charged... ??? I called J Crew and they had found the tanks in both colors are being shipped to me and they didn't let me know. Oops!
I couldn't decide between the two colors and now I'll have both. Whoops!

Something similar happened to me as well. I had them look for a dress and never heard back. I finally called and found out that it was being shipped from the West Coast and that they'd charged my card. I was pretty annoyed at the lack of follow-up (but glad to get the dress!)

it's great that they were able to find the charcoal one for you! you were looking for an XS, right? i had them do a search too and got an email about 5 minutes later saying they were unable to locate it.
