please help! i have $50 of amazon gift certs. but i don't want to get books or electronics or anything like that. i want to spend it on clothes or accessories b/c i am still trying to totally redo my wardrobe. i'm thinking maybe some good basics or something trendy and fun. i've only ever ordered books and kids clothes and some american apparel stuff, which i am looking at right now. what other brands/items should i check out? i know target is there but i've already bought so much stuff there recently. the list of brands is pretty endless; i started with the A's (under womens) but it might take awhile to get through it all. would love some tips!
what have you gotten there that you have liked?? the only caveat is that i don't want to go much over $50.
ditto to what boobaby said - I don't do any clothing shopping on Amazon - I don't know why, I just feel like it's so cumbersome and overwhelming. You'll probably have more luck if you search for something specific rather than browsing. They do have good deals on shoes a lot, and I think they are linked up with a lot of shoe websites so it makes it easier to search amazon than searching zappos, endless, etc. all individually

I've only bought shoes there as far as fashion items are concerned. By the way, I remember someone saying that if you find something on sale at endless.com (owned by amazon), check on amazon.com and more than likely it will be cheaper. I tested this on a bag and it was true. If I recall correctly, Amazon also partners with Revolve Clothing and Macy's.
What kind of items are you looking for? How about some cute sandals?

well, since i am totally redoing my wardrobe i thought i'd try to knock something off my very long list. maybe wife beaters, tees, etc. or little dresses for summer. i want to go with trusted brands though. i want to stay away from shoes unless i can try them on first at a B&M store - my feet are so weird that my size varies even among the same brand. i saw a couple prs of cute flats today at nine west and macy's but they don't have my size on amazon. i'm looking now through the james perse stuff - at least that's tried and true - and some of the stuff is marked way down. i also tried american apparel but couldn't find anything cute in my size. oh, and i want a high waisted pencil skirt so i'll search for that too! okay sorry to be so long-winded!
thanks to everything for their suggestions! urban outfitters would be great but couldn't find anything i like (may try again later though). thanks everyone!
