I just got back from seeing Sin City with my boyfriend and it was so freakin awesome!!!! I really loved it. I was actually bummed when it was over. God damn that was s great movie. My boyfriend liked it, but not as much as I did.
I love Clive Owen- I have to figure out a plan to get him to marry me.

I liked the movie too -- it had a very different feel in terms of being in b&w (mostly) and having a monologue style. However, I was very surprised at how gory it was! I was expecting action and violence of course, but wow!
It wasn't bad. I thought it was pretty good, a bit too long. I found myself wondering where it was going. The B/W was very cool with the hint of color. I liked it, just not sure I would ever by it or need to see it again.

I was the opposite. I didn't want it to end. I was bummed when it did. I am actually looking for a bootleg copy of it, so I don't have to wait till it comes out on video to watch it.

I didn't think the gore was that bad. Most of the movie was in black and white, so sometimes they would show the blood in bright red or it would white. I think because the movie looked like a comic book it didn't seemed more like a cartoon. There was definaltey a lot of ass kicking and violence, but it didn't bother me at all.

I really liked the movie, Clive Owen is so droolworthy, and Benicio was really good in it too.
I am disappointed in my gilmore girl's acting job though...*sigh* she wasn't very convincing in tuck everlasting either (did I just admit to watching that??)
I agree, I can't see her as anything but goody-two-shoes Rory.
I really like the movie and for once I liked Jessica Alba. Clive Owen was awesome, as was Benicio and Mickey Rourke. I didn't find it overly violent but my bf and I got asked for ID three times on our way into the theatre.
CLIIIIIIVE!!!! Jesus that man is hot! The only thing that tortured me, though, was his painfully bad American accent. It's not enough just to pronounce the words the way somebody else does, you have to pick up the speech patterns, and listening to him speak American like a Brit was giving me a headache.
Wow I loved that movie, though. SO gorgeous. I want to see it again just so I can study the digital rendering. In all seriousness, I think I am going to work with black, white and red for my next interior design project in school!

I was a little wigged out by that. In the movie he was like 40 years older than her. It was just creepy. In real life I would be all about hooking up w/ Bruce, but in the move it was weird.

I really didn't noticed it. I know he is British, but I didn't think his accent was that bad. I acutally liked it.
