Magnolia cake recipes always win for me- I've never made one of their full-size cakes before, but I've made A LOT of cupcakes, and the vanilla Magnolia cupcakes are by far the best I've ever tasted. I'm assuming this is the same recipe, just in a bigger pan.

Thank you both so much! I'm making cupcakes too on top of the cake but I was going to cheat and make those out of the box. maybe I'll do both. The Magnolia Bakery recipe sounds really promising!!!

Yup, I was going to suggest the magnolia recipe too. I've only made the cupcakes, but yummy! I've also made these Billy's vanilla, vanilla cupcakes too:
