Today I was getting a friend a birthday gift at a local boutque. The store carries boring, yucky clothes, a lot of Brighton , but they have decent jewelry, candles, etc. So one of the women working there was probably in her 50s, had on matching flamingo-themed capri and top "outfit", coordinated beaded sandals, I'm sure she thought her outfit was cute because it matched and was festive, but not stylish in the way we would think... there are tons of women like this in Florida.


Anyway, this woman  is helping another customer. I overheard the sales lady tell the customer in a VERY authoritative tone "You know, SKIRTS are HUGE this season." I so wanted to be smart ass and ask if she thought PANTS would be HUGE next season, but I was nice and kept my mouth shut.

Pssst.....I also heard tops are going to be huuuuuuuuge too!! Tees, button downs, v-necks, crew necks, yes everyone, tops will be necessary items for your spring wardrobe.
