My thing is, why would they create such a fuss to get people to watch the show if they already do. That's why I think its true. Plus, let's be honest, can this many women REALLY work together harmoniously?

Honestly, the story was confusing to read. Does everyone have a problem with Hatcher or what? That seems to be the basis of the story, but it was never stated.
eh...who knows. but like lilmissdiva said, what are the chances that 5 women can work that closely together for 16 hours days and get along harmoniously? honestly, i don't think Teri Hatcher is in any way the star of the shot. even on Sex and the City, Carrie was the narrator and the protagonist, but it was still considered somewhat of an ensemble. Desperate Housewives is even more so. there's really nothing that makes Teri Hatcher the "main character." i really just think she's gotten more attention because this is sort of a resurgence for her career, she was pretty famous before, whereas the other ladies were not previously as well known. you know, like there'd be mag covers of Teri Hatcher looking all sexy and headlines that said something like "Lois Lane moves to the suburbs." Sort of like a, here's what she's doing now, as opposed to, here's these new people. i don't know, just my thoughts.
I've seen more covers and headlines saying, "Has Been No More" instead of something promoting all of them. I'd probably be ticked too, if I was on the show and they kept promoting just one person instead of all of the women.
Speaking of SATC, remember when there were catfights about who got the best airbrushing scenes? I remember hearing about that years ago. They got along but didn't get along if that makes any sense.

Not to mention that Teri Hatcher won the Golden Globe & a SAG & not the others. I am a junk news addict & saw an interview with Teri Hatcher & it wasn't looking really good. The footage showed Marcia Cross CLEARLY mad when at one point Teri got in the middle of the shot. At one point all the other girls were chatting it up & Teri walked away to be alone. I think the media SO wants to cast some negative publicity on this show since it's doing so well, so they are eating this up. And of course that many women with those egos can't get along 24/7. Have you ever taken a few days trip with girlfriends? I know we always at least have one little tiff!!!!
And BTW, have you seen the cover? Teri is all the way to the left, which means you see her first, and it folds under, so Marcia Cross & one other (Felicity i think) aren't even "really" on the cover. I must admit, I'd be ticked myself!

I think they should all be happy they have jobs, roles, etc, in a hit television series and stop being whiny babies, if in fact that is what they are doing. Let's face it, it is a comeback of sorts for Nicolette Sheridan and Marcia Cross. Where were they before this show, in the years since their last programs?? I seem to see a lot of coverage on Eva Longoria as well. I think part of it is, Teri Hatcher seems like such a nice person. Remember the Barbara Walters interview??
