Okay ladies, I am looking at buying a metallic bag for spring and summer. I am between the silver Allison Burns Faithfull or the bronze Allison Burns Lily. I am trying to decide which one would be more versatile. I do not want to get a bag that will go with the same items that my other bags go with I want something completely new. Just so you know I already have a white MJ Anouk, a black MJ Sophia (which I don't really carry a lot in the summer), a camel Luella East West Giselle, a bone and tan Coach signature clip hobo and a pink DKNY bag. What do you think?

I voted for the bronze b/c I think it will go with more, and I like the color bronze much better than silver (but that's just me). I have that bronze bag that a lot of us got awhile ago (I feel like an idiot b/c I can never remember the brand, the SAk or something??) and I get compliments on it almost every time I carry it. I don't know if you wear a lot of brown, but bronze looks really good with browns, greens and other neutrals. JMHO.
IMO it depends on your wardrobe and skin coloring. Judging from your avatar pic, I think you'll look amazing in the bronze, but either one would be great. I like them both, but I feel like owning two metallic bags is a bit overkill.

Actually they do this is a pic. What do we think?

Considering what you already own (a white bag, a camel bag, a tan/bone bag - all these are in the beige/warm family), I would go with the silver Faithful. It will go with different outfits than the bags you already have do.
I really love the style of the Faithfull but I had that bag in gold which I ordered from Intuition and only had it a week before the gold started flaking off bad so I really can't vouch for the quality. I was so sad because it seriously looked hideous after only a week of LIGHT wear so I returned it. Just wanted to share.
i have mixed feelings on metallic bags. i like them in concept, but i think i have just seen them everywhere. so my concern would be do you really want to spend a lot of money that you see cheap versions everywhere? don't get me wrong, when i purchase something, i usually buy a nice quality item (usually for more money) than a cheaper bag that i'm not going to be happy with in a couple weeks. from your posts it seems like you do the same, but i think you could find a better spring bag that's not so trendy and that doesn't have knockoffs around every corner. JMO.

Really? Oh poo!! That sucks royally! Maybe I will have to splurge on the Botkier or the Not Rational one that I saw at Co-Op last week.
