I've never ever been and my family wants to plan a trip to go in May. How's the weather there at that time? I'm really excited but I have no idea on what I should expect! Any advice or insight from anyone whos gone?

I have not been since I was a kid, but it is a beautiful place.

I just checked weather historicals for you - looks like mid 60's.

I live about an hour and a half from Lake Tahoe.  Are you going to South Shore or North?  It is beautiful in May, but definitely a little chilly.  What are you planning on doing?  Let me know if you would like some tips on where to go/eat/etc.  I've been to South Shore more times than I can count.

P.S.  North Shore has less things to do than South Shore.
