What is a fried egg? I like the idea of the sandwich. I might try it with scrambled eggs.

Sorry! What I call a fried egg is just an egg cracked in a skillet and cooked. You know, like a sunny side up/over easy egg.

And those english muffins NCShopper mentioned are the ones I buy.

Smoothies never seem to fill me up and fruits have a lot of sugar for me for breakfast...which just make my blood sugar crash by 10:00am.

I kinda like to have a bunch of little things for breakfast. For example, sometimes I'll have a couple hard boiled eggs, some tomato slices or cherry tomatoes, an avocado, and maybe some cheese. And then maybe a little something sweet like a banana or something.

I sometimes through in like turkey slices and tomatoes. I don't really like breakfast food per say, and I like salt for breakfast and a little sweet...so I'm always looking for non-breakfast items to eat for breakfast.

If I have cereal I try to find ones that have a lot of fiber, so I stay full. Also, I'll try to have a little something else with it...like some protein or and/or a banana.

Here's an idea I want to steal from Einstein's Bagels: They have a yummy spinach, egg, swiss bagel sandwich. I bet that would be easy to make at home and it is satisfying. I would probably substitute the bagel for some other high fiber whole grain bread though.

I dunno...I'm also stuck in a breakfast rut. smile.gif
