My grandma passed away on saterday from congestive heart faliure. she had been in physical therapy preparing to come home when last friday she had trouble breathing.they put her on oxygin and ran tests. she had fluid on her lungs and her heart was pumping very slowly. on Saterday night she slipped into a comma and on sunday morning she passed.I was with her when she took her last breathe and I wrote the eulogy(i think thats how Its spelled) for her and will read it at her funeral tomorow. The most amazing thing is the day she died was her 88th birthday. thank you all so much for your prayers for her.they meant so much to me.

I'm so sorry to hear that, Cat. I actually thought about you and your Mom and Grandma yesterday and was wondering how you were all doing.
Wow, 88... Such a long life. I hope I get to live that long. Just think of all the things she witnessed in the 20th century alone - I bet she shared great stories with you. And on her birthday too - full circle.
I hope you and your Mom are holding up ok. You know all of us here at stylethread are here for you if you need someone to talk to. Hang in there...

i'm sorry to hear about your grandmother, my thoughts are with you and your family. my grandfather is actually in a rehab facility right now after some recent lung issues, too, so i can definitely sympathize....he's 86 and i know he can't be here forever, but it's hard.
((hugs)) and i hope you're doing okay.
