SO i listed an item on ebay and i got a pretty good offer from a ebayer. She has great feedback and is a powerseller so i think it should be fine...if you think other wise please tell me. This is my first time selling on ebay so im not quite sure what to do. I dont know if its shady or if im being jipped. I agreed to it anyhow but i didnt end the auction yet. Do I end the auction first and hope that i receive a payment or get paid first and then end the auction. I just dont want soemone to do buy it now at the same time this ebayer pays me. HELP!!!!

well, first of all it's against ebay policy to do this I believe - I wouldn't recommend breaking the rules for your first ebay sale.
the only thing I can suggest to you is familiarize yourself with ebay's rules, then contact her to tell her you didn't realize you couldn't accept an offer and end the auction early and that she will either have to bid or take advantage of the buy it now feature you have on the auction.
selling on ebay takes patience - a lot of people don't bid until the last 10 seconds of an auction. you need to wait it out and not let someone prey on your desire to ensure your sale of the item.
If she has bid on your item (which I suspect she hasn't) this could apply - but only if she has placed a bid. Her buying the item from you without bidding (thus avoiding ebay fees) is not kosher
"It is acceptable for sellers to end a listing early in order to sell an item at the current bid price to the high bidder. Bidders are permitted to contact sellers with requests to end a listing early; however, sellers are under no obligation to do so."

i had no idea..i read over the rules for ending an auction early and i guess i thought that since they allow you to do this then my selling the item to anotehr person would be ok.. Thanks detroit! Im glad i didnt end the auction.
