I need some new and cuter shoes. I haven't been out shopping for anything other than wedges the past couple of years but noticed I need some new flat sandals. What is in/what will be in? I keep seeing gladiator sandals in the stores right now. I thought that trend was a few years ago. Is it more classic than I think?
I really like the gladiator style, but I'm so freaked that they will make my already larger calves look huge. Any thoughts?
It can if you wear the wrong thing on the bottom. I think you need a VERY short skirt or shorts or more capri lenght pants, or a maxi dress. Anything in between ( knee lenght shorts ) would chop up your legs.

Thanks! I shudder to think of a very short skirt, and I've never been able to get into the maxi-dress style. You say capri-length, like mid-calf? I think that the gladiator sandals could work with ankle lenght pants, right? Like if they hit right at where my calf ends and my ankle starts?
I really like these:

I would avoid mid calf, it should be more ankle lenght. Just try to avoid anything that chops up your leg :)
