When using a scarf as a headband are you supposed to cover the ears or not? Also, do you wear the scarf low on the head (so it covers some of your forehead) or leave it high like normal headbands so that you can see some hair?
This sounds really silly but I'd appreciate any help!
I love wearing scarves as a headband! I usually wear it back a little so that you can see a bit of hair in front (and no, don't cover your ears!), but I have seen it done the other way too- makes my forehead look to big that way though.

what I usually do it pull my hair up in a quick ponytail and then flip my head upside down (I swear its easier that way), wrap the scarf around and tie it tightly under the ponytail. Then put your head right side up and take the pontail out.
I've never had problems with it slipping off this way (if I just try to do it without pulling it up first it never gets tight enough)... but maybe if you use a little hairspray on the front of your hair or on the scarf (if its not silk) that would help?
