I heard about the possible delay this morning also. I think he just doesn't want his wedding overshadowed by the pope's funeral and some foreign dignitaries (sp?) were debating which event to attend with most picking the funeral.

Yes, even with some growth sprouting from her head, she looks really happy and almosr pretty in that 2nd pic. I just still ahve a bad taste in my mouth, though - like why didn't they do this 30 years ago? Poor Di.

I read the hat was designed by the milliner who designs wacky hats for the.... oh, you know, the event the British women wear crazy hats to.....aaargh, can't remember. The milliner's name is Philip Treacy.

Huh. I actually think they both look nice and though I don't think that hat is Philip Treacy's best work, I'm kind of into the fact that she had the balls to wear that.

Oh, I love the hats...they are so fun. I wouldn't personally wear them, but I think they are a great tradition (Astor, etc.).

I was in the UK through Saturday, so I am SOOOOOOO sick of hearing about the royal wedding. All the kitschy shops on Oxford and Regents street were selling really mean "royal wedding" memorabilia that made Camilla just look horrible. I'm sure they are all going to be making fun of her hat when I go back next month...

I think these two were destined for each other. It is really sad the circumstances that occured before they finally married, and especially tragic for Di; she knew she was second, but I'm not sure she realized Charles' devotion to Camilla while they were married.

I guess I am happy for them, but sad about Di.
