I am so super excited, I got the job! Many of you know I was offered a buy-out at work, so not I will leave my old job on a Friday, start my new job the next Monday, and be able to bank the buy-out (6 months salary) instead of living off it while I search for a job! It's my perfect senario. And, I will only be making $1500 less at my new job, hopefully I will get a raise or tow by the end of the year and be back to where I was (or better).

It's full time, the benefits are great, and it is the same distance from home as my previous job. I'll start a 1/2 hour earlier (which will help with the commute, not that it's bad) and parking will be a problem (college campus, and parking is not provided. I can buy a pass, but I don't know how pricey that is).

Just wanted to share...

Yippee! If public transit is an option, you can save on gas and parking, which would easily make up the $1500.
