I forgot one, which is amazing b/c I always ALWAYS have it on me. I bought a Bath & Bodyworks gift set as a Christmas gift one year for my roommate. Somehow I ended up not giving it to her and kept the red leather wristlet that the little bodywashes came in. I've used it as a wallet for let's see...5 years now? Circa 2006 Coach came out with similar looking bags and everyone thought that's what it was smile.gif

I bought a pair of Anthropologie leather knee high flat boots...in yellow. I seriously wear these all the time, whenever I want to spruce up a boring colored outfit. I feel like Shopaholic when I wear them ("People will call me the Girl In The Yellow Boots...")
I also wear my Michele watch every day. When I got it, I assumed that I would only wear it on special occasions, but I wear it every single day and I feel naked without it.

Just thought of another one - a Frankie B denim jacket I bought in 2003 - I have worn it hundreds of times!

The unexpected:

1. A grey Astuces cardigan with asymmetrical zipper I've had for years - bought from Loehmann's when I thought $60 was a lot. It has totally earned it's keep.
2. A grey tailored vest I found in a box of clothes to donate someone left by the side of the trash bins/parking lot. A lot of the stuff was new, still with tags. This one had no label or anything but I wear it all the time.
3. A cheap Forever 21 chain necklace I wear all the time - with anything.
4. A straw hat/fedora from UO. I plop it on any chance I get on the weekends.
5. Purple skinny jeans (ankle length) from Greece. It goes well with most of my neutrals and adds a great pop of color.
6. Black studded belt - I wear at least once a week. Black shiny pyramid studs on black leather. Sounds rocker-ish but surprisingly works well with a lot of outfits for work.
7. Betsey Johnson charm necklace. I've had this investment piece for years (also when I thought her stuff was too much $$$ for me) but I've worn so much of the gold plating down it's a dull gold/silver tone now. I'm sure it's in the cents by now if I calculate cost per wear.

What styles do you guys have?  I always see them at Nordstrom's and sometimes at Nordstrom's Rack.  I wonder which one I would wear a lot as they do look more like for special occasions or particular outfits.  Would you mind posting pics?

1. I think many of us thought $60 was a lot a few years back. I'm starting to work my way back to that thinking...  I think the internet somehow reduced sticker shock, plus they say that people tend to spend more when they use credit cards.

6. me too! love my studded belts smile

I have 3 styles -

The deco michele_watches_deco.jpg

The csx

MWW03C000013.jpg

and the csx 33 , which is just a scaled down version of the origional round face with diamonds.

I used to wear the deco all the time. Then everyone started wearing the deco , so now I have switched back to my csx round. I think the deco is a cool watch but I hate when things become so common - I might even sell my deco since I get no use out of it.

Those are the 2 basic styles, but they make a ton of addl styles - I suggust you just go try them on and see what looks best on you.

also , check out watchclick.com - they get them at great discounts and no sales tax!

It's still a lot for me for a cardigan, but you made up for it by rummaging through someone's donation box! LOL!

hahaha!  Ain't t that sooo true?  I always say I'm and EOS - Equal Opportunity Shopper (and also known to be an EOE - Equal Opportunity Eater - but that's another thread).

AllieGurl - The Deco with the leather straps are the ones I've seen most variations of at The Rack.  In colorful colors - I guess that's why I figured they were dress-up watches.  I do like the metal band one and fairywings' Urban Mini.

Thanks for the website link!
